As a busy mom on the go, my life this week is filled with back-to-school emails to read and To-Do lists. Does anyone else feel the same? 🤪🙋🏻♀️So I got inspired to reorganize and refresh the mudroom.

✨tip 1: Start with a fresh canvas. Remove everything out of space to clean, donate and organize items into categories. Seeing a room without clutter and with fresh eyes always gets my creative energy going.
✨tip 2: Style meets function. Our mudroom has so much potential to be stylish and functional! Add a personal design touch - I do this with vintage hooks, weathered shelving, some artsy finds from flea markets, and always a real plant. Or have fun with color cabinetry and fun floor patterns tiles or rugs to infuse character.
✨tip 3: To help keep your mudroom tidy and easy to navigate, divide your mudroom into specific zones for different purposes. Use labels or color-coded bins/baskets to mark where each item belongs.
✨tip 4: Use baskets or cabinets to hide all the little things. I have a vintage cabinet that hides all my kid's shoes. We've had it since they were in nursery school, and even though shoes are 10 times the size now, it still works! This prevents clutter and makes it easy to find what you need.
✨tip 5: Maximize a small Entryway. Make the most of a compact entryway by transforming it into a functional mudroom. Carve a space for shoes with multipurpose stools, hang up a few hooks, and designate an area for mail and essentials. Then dress up the style with a mirror and vintage artwork, and finish your favorite room spray - lavender and citrus scents are my favorites!
